What is CEREC CADCAM?

Cerec cad cam is made in Germany by Sirona dental systems. Dr Rashid was one of the first dentists in the UK to be using CEREc and is highly experienced in its use and has enjoyed many years of successful treatments using cerec.

With cerec we can make ceramic crowns, veneers and inlays all in one visit with no moulds!

Briefly this is how it works;

1. We take a digital cad cam image of the tooth preparation using a small intra camera.
2. Then we use a computer system to design the crown in front of the patient.
3. The patient can even watch the restoration being made by the cerec milling unit.
   Or have a coffee!
4. Then we fit the crown and the patient can go home smiling!
